I'm in the lodging business. We have gotten through the VTO, accountability chart, and people analyzer. I like what we have done. Next, we are taking on the core processes definition and creation. I am looking for best practices and examples that would help me understand if we are doing a good job. My staff is having some difficulty getting to the 20% most important items. They want to gravitate to the very granular in many cases. Some of the obvious processes that we have in our business are cleaning, sales, accounting, and customer service. I will appreciate your thoughts, advice, and examples.
